Seven Areas Where Sanctions
Compliance Breaks - a 45-Minute Diagnosis
Live webinar • 10 November 2026 • 11:00 CET
WebinarsA practical 45-minute diagnosis of where sanctions compliance programmes actually fail – the first session in the CSCE sanctions compliance series.
Sanctions regimes are moving faster than most compliance frameworks can keep up with: new EU packages, expanding entity lists, secondary sanctions exposure, and now direct criminal liability for boards in Poland.
This session opens the CSCE Sanctions Compliance Series with a straight, practical diagnosis: the seven areas where sanctions compliance programmes most commonly break down in practice, drawn from real audit and certification work.

In 45 minutes, you’ll learn:
- The seven most common failure points in sanctions compliance frameworks
- How to spot whether your own organisation has the same gaps
- What due diligence, regulators, and contract counterparties actually expect to see
- Where CSCE certification fits as formal proof of compliance
Who should attend?
This webinar is designed for:
- Compliance officers, legal and risk teams, boards and executives, and anyone responsible for sanctions due diligence, trade compliance, or third-party risk.
Why attend?
This is Session 1 of 4 in the CSCE Sanctions Compliance Series. Upcoming sessions cover the EU’s shift from sectors to entities, sanctions regimes beyond Russia (Belarus, Iran, North Korea, US secondary sanctions), and Poland’s new sanctions act and corporate criminal liability.
Questions
CSCE is a completely separate company operating as the International Sanctions Institute, functioning independently of its founding law firms and the private practices of its board members. Its impartiality is strictly maintained by an independent Quality Board of global experts, ensuring that the certification process remains objective and free from conflicts of interest.
It is not a guarantee. It is a concrete step toward meeting the minimum standard of due diligence expected under EU law, built on the KYOC principle – Know Your Own Company. Any gaps or shortcomings we identify are then addressed by you directly, or together with CSCE’s partners, depending on your preference.
We assess each legal entity individually. Timing depends on how quickly the participating entity engages with us and on the complexity of its operations – but the process is designed to reach a result fast, without unnecessary delay.
It is an independent, privately issued certification. It was developed in active dialogue with EU and national public bodies, while no client data is shared with any authority. The report stays entirely with you – it is your decision whether to share it with a regulator or business partner.
